Designed for installation at the inverter location or AC combiner box, this transmitter continuously broadcasts a SunSpec-compliant Power Line Communication (PLC) "Keep-Alive" signal through the system's DC homerun cables.

When utility AC power is interrupted or emergency shutdown is initiated, the transmitter ceases its signal, causing all paired RSD-S-PLC (415002) and RSD-D (446101) devices on the roof to automatically de-energize the PV array within seconds.
